時は大正28年（1919年）。この町家は、加賀百万石の城下町・金沢の片隅にひっそりと佇んでいました。木のぬくもりと漆喰壁に包まれたその空間には、明治から続く「和」の趣に、西洋文化の風がそっと吹き込まれ、まさに“大正浪漫”の息吹が漂う雰囲気に。
この家には、昔から猫が棲みついていたといいます。ときには縁側で日向ぼっこを、ときには階段の陰からこっそり覗いていたり…。現代に生まれ変わった「猫ノ間」にも、その名残があちこちに残されています。あなただけの“隠れ猫”が見つかるかもしれません。
